In the world of influencer marketing, Find Your Influence (FYI) is a true industry pioneer. With a history as one of the original platforms in the space, FYI has built a powerful, flexible solution that combines a massive database of over 25 million creators with both a self-service SaaS platform and a full-service agency.
We had the pleasure of catching up with Joslyn Goodroad, EVP at Find Your Influence, to discuss their unique hybrid model, their explosive growth on platforms like Pinterest, and how they bridge the gap between top-funnel influence and bottom-funnel performance.
We are a hybrid solution. We operate as a full-service agency for clients who want a completely managed service, but we also have our own platform that brands can license and use as a self-service tool.
If a client has a team internally that knows how to manage and negotiate with influencers, they can license our platform and do it all themselves. It’s a very streamlined and easy-to-use solution.
But for our managed-service clients, we do it all. We have a database of over 25 million creators worldwide, plus over 100,000 registered creators we’ve worked with in the past, which makes it incredibly easy for us to identify the right talent for any campaign on any platform. We’re essentially full-service or self-service, depending on the client’s needs.
Our scale is a major differentiator—not many platforms have as many creators as we do. But beyond that, it’s our flexibility.
For clients who license our platform, we offer unlimited campaigns and unlimited creators. A lot of our competitors will limit that, capping the number of creators or campaigns you can run at one time. We want to make it flexible, allowing our clients to truly scale.
Our biggest partnership right now is with Pinterest, where we handle all of their creator needs for their brands. When the Pinterest sellers sell in a creator-influencer program, they loop our team in to manage the entire process.
It’s been huge, and it’s totally international. We’re running about five campaigns in France, 10 in the UK, and a couple in the Netherlands and Belgium. We’re working with everyone from PepsiCo to Coca-Cola to L’Oreal. It’s been a crazy, exciting partnership and a great example of our team managing complex, large-scale campaigns.
We’re all about optimizing based on conversions. We have a long history of working with Everflow through mutual clients, and I always send referrals your way because I believe you have the most advanced tracking and attribution for conversions.
If a brand is working with Everflow, we can easily include those tracking links within the creator's content and then track and measure the conversion metrics.
This allows us to evaluate the data and get closer and closer to our clients' Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) goals. We might see 50 conversions on TikTok’s side and the client sees 20 on their end, so we meet in the middle, analyze the data, and build a strategy to optimize for the next campaign.
It’s a long-term strategy. That’s the most important thing to understand. You really do need to "test, learn, and optimize." You have to find the right creators, the right creative, and the right way to feature your product.
We do a really deep analysis after every single campaign with recommendations that we apply to the next campaign. This allows us to get closer to their goals each time. It’s a long-term partnership, and that’s where the real success comes from.
